On April 29, 2025, students and partners of the ReCall Project came together for an online meeting to reflect on recent progress and coordinate the next steps of our collaborative educational initiative. The meeting brought together participants from Czechia, Hungary, and Poland, who are jointly developing a digital platform to explore shared European memories and cultural heritage through interactive tools and storytelling.
A key highlight of the meeting was the completion of video recordings with academic experts in Wrocław and Budapest. These videos form a central part of the ReCall learning materials and will soon be finalized with animations and visual elements to enhance student engagement.
The project website and digital catalogue are now live with the first thematic topics published. The teams have worked collaboratively to upload curated texts, images, and historical content that reflect national and regional perspectives within a broader European framework.
Students and educators also reviewed the first versions of learning materials, including knowledge-based test questions. These will serve as the foundation for more interactive, visual e-learning modules to be developed in the coming weeks.
Looking ahead, the consortium is preparing for its next key milestone: an in-person project meeting in Brno from May 29 to June 1, 2025. During this event, participants will finalize the catalogue content, complete video production, and integrate materials into a unified map and educational interface—closing the first major phase of the project.
The ReCall Project continues to demonstrate the value of international cooperation in education. By combining research, storytelling, and digital innovation, students are helping to shape a meaningful learning experience that brings European history closer to young people across the region.
